Meals are not provided, so please bring a packed lunch, or food to share.  There will be an area to eat and a small kitchen prep area at the teaching venue with a sink, fridge and kettle (water, teas and coffee will be provided).  Nearby there will be places to buy food in shops, café or pub.  Arrangements for evening meals should be made locally to where you are staying.

What is shamanic journeying?

Shamanic journeying is something akin to meditation, entering a relaxed or altered state, similar to being somewhere between wakefulness and sleep.  It is done to explore, discover and heal.  The shamanic journeying facilitated at Midlands Shamanic Arts is with the guiding voice, your own intention, and percussive rhythm. We operate a strict no-drink and no-drugs policy.

I’m tempted but nervous.  How will I know it’s right for me?

It’s understandable to feel nervous about doing something different, perhaps totally outside your normal comfort zone.  However, this is how we grow, evolve, gain confidence, and heal.  Our courses offer you the potential to effect life-changing accomplishments in a safe environment watched over by experienced healers and teachers.

We also recommend that if you have any special concerns that you phone one of us to discuss things further.

Both Ruth and Cheryl work independently as healers should you wish to meet us and begin your shamanic experience or healing path ahead of any workshops with Midlands Shamanic Arts.

Please feel free to contact us with ANY questions or queries no matter how trivial you think they might be.

We look forward to welcoming you and guiding you on your healing path.
